Rabbi Noach Muroff

Rabbi Noach Muroff

Rabbi Noach Muroff joined our team at Ahavas Torah serving as an Associate Rabbi in August of 2017.

Rabbi Muroff was born and raised in Ottawa, Canada's capital city. After attending Ottawa Torah Institute High School, he studied in Yeshivas Bais Yisroel in Jerusalem for six years.  While in Eretz Yisrael, he received his semicha/ordination from Rav Zalman Nechemia Goldberg.  Rabbi Muroff then obtained his Masters of Education in Administration and Supervision from Loyola University in Chicago. While still a full-time Yeshiva student, he enrolled in the Ohr LaGolah Teacher Training Program to further foster his desire and skills to teach Torah to students of varied backgrounds.   Rabbi Muroff served as a high school Rebbi in Connecticut and suburban Atlanta for eight years and as Director of Outreach at the Kehilla in Sandy Springs, Georgia.  In 2013, Rabbi Muroff made international headlines for returning $98,000 that he found in a desk that he purchased on Craigslist.

Rabbi Muroff serves the community as the Boys' Assistant Principal at Torah Day School of Phoenix.  He and his wife Esther are blessed with seven children and are thrilled to be part of the AT family.
